Punkin Ridge, a Hereford based operation strives on producing top quality cattle that will perform in the pasture as well as the show ring.  Our goal is to produce cattle that will meet the needs of the every demanding cattle industry.  At Punkin Ridge we implement a rigorous culling program, so only the top quality animals make it to production.  The females here at the farm are selected and are based on genotypic and phenotypic traits.  We want our cows to possess femininity and structurally correct, broody and excels in their maternal profile.

Punkin Ridge bulls are the end product of very careful genetic selection.  Bulls that carry the PR prefix are stout, rugged made bulls that has the durability to with stand all types of terrain.  All bulls that are offered are accompanied by carcass ultrasound data and EPD's to assists the cattlemen as a tool for the selection process.  Whether you are a Hereford breeder or  Commercial Cattlemen, Punkin Ridge bred bulls could be an asset to your herd.

To compliment our Hereford cattle, Punkin Ridge also take great pride in our highly sought after black baldy females.  A percentage of our pure-bred Hereford cows are bred to top Angus bulls and the end results are an elite group of baldy heifers.
